Truevestments.com is the trade name of Truevestments.com Risk Advisors LLC, a licensed property and casualty insurance agency located at 100 North Point Center East, Suite 125, Alpharetta, GA 30022 ("Truevestments.com," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through truevestments.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote, contact and checkup forms: name, email, phone number, business name, state, the topic you choose, renewal date, preferred contact time, your answers to the coverage checkup, and anything you write in a message.
- Bullseye, our automated chat assistant: what you type into the chat. If the conversation leads to an inquiry, we receive a copy of the chat along with the contact details you share.
- Email and phone: anything you send us directly.
Please don't share Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, dates of birth, or bank or card numbers through the Site or chat. If we need sensitive information to quote or service a policy, a licensed agent will collect it through a secure method.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Server and security logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard technical information such as IP address and request details to deliver and protect the Site.
- Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and interaction information to tell people from bots. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Embedded content: the market ticker (provided by TradingView) and map (provided by Google Maps) load from those companies, which may collect information under their own privacy policies.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, prepare quotes and coverage reviews, and service your policies, including certificates, changes, renewals and claims support.
- To share your information with insurance companies and specialty markets so they can evaluate and quote your coverage, and with partners in our Resource Hub only when you ask us to connect you with them.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request, if you give consent on our forms.
- To send our weekly briefing or other updates if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To improve the Site, measure what is working, and prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, regulatory and recordkeeping obligations that apply to insurance agencies.
Text messages
If you check the consent box on one of our forms, we may contact you by text message about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Insurance companies and markets we work with to quote, place and service your coverage.
- Service providers that run the Site and our business for us, such as website hosting, form processing, email, analytics and our chat assistant's technology providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Resource Hub partners (for example a realtor, attorney or finance professional), only when you ask us to make an introduction.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, court order or a request from an insurance regulator, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the public or us.
- Business transfers: if our agency is merged, acquired or sells its book of business, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Information we receive in connection with insurance products and services is handled in line with the privacy laws that apply to insurance agencies, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy laws.
Cookies and your choices
- Saved form progress: if you start the quote or Resource Hub request form and leave, what you typed is saved in your own browser (not sent to us) for up to 30 days so you can pick up where you left off. It is removed when you submit the form or choose "Start over," and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, but analytics will be less complete.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in each email and stop texts by replying STOP.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@truevestments.com. Some information must be kept to meet insurance recordkeeping laws. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor those rights as required.
How long we keep information
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including the period required by insurance recordkeeping and licensing rules, and then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No website or transmission is completely secure, so please use the secure methods a licensed agent provides for sensitive documents.
Children
The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other sites
The Site links to other websites, including news sources, carriers, partners and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
